Granite Bay is located in Placer County. I always describe it as being 30 minutes past Sacramento, off 80 on your way to Tahoe. The central location makes it perfect for a quick trip to Tahoe, or an easy drive to the Bay Area.

Granite Bay is a small and peaceful town, but it’s close to every store and amenity you could think of in the surrounding cities. Including some of the best local produce at the PlacerGrown farmers markets.

The outdoor recreation options are endless in Placer County. For golf enthusiasts, Granite Bay Golf Club is one of the best courses in the region.

Many of the neighborhoods in Granite Bay were developed around the golf club. Homes in the area range from large

elegant properties in gated communities to ranch style homes on acreage.

Granite Bay sits right next to Folsom Lake and the American River Bike trail, which are great spots for boating, hiking, biking, and more.

With 20 wineries and counting, Placer County has become a premium wine-producing region. I love the laid-back and family friendly vibes at our local wineries.

Many families are drawn to the area for the great public schools. Oakhills elementary is one of the top rated,  and Granite Bay High School is the number one public high school in the Sacramento region.
